Suzlon Group secures 82 MW Wind Energy Project from Oyster Green

Suzlon Group, a leading global renewable energy solutions provider, announced on Friday that it has secured an 82-megawatt (MW) wind energy project from Oyster Green Hybrid One Pvt Ltd. The project will involve the installation of 26 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW, at Oyster Green’s site in Agar, Madhya Pradesh.

In an official statement, Suzlon confirmed, “Suzlon secures a new order of 81.9 MW for the 3 MW series from Oyster Green Hybrid One Private Limited.” The agreement encompasses the supply, erection, and commissioning of the wind turbines. Post-commissioning, Suzlon will also provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services.

Project Details and Impact:

The electricity generated from this project is intended for the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customer segment, which will significantly contribute to the penetration of renewable energy within India.
