Suzlon, a provider of renewable energy solutions, announced on Thursday that it has secured a contract from EDF Renewables for a 30 MW wind power project. Under this agreement, Suzlon will install 10 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) featuring a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower, each with a capacity of 3 MW, in Gujarat.

This project aims to supply electricity generated to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL), thus bringing sustainable energy benefits to upwards of 24,000 households. Additionally, the implementation of this initiative is projected to lead to a significant reduction in carbon dioxide emissions, estimated at over 97,000 tonnes annually.
