SustVest, India’s first regulated platform for sustainable investments, has raised $1.7 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures and Antler. Other participants included WEH Ventures, Venture Catalysts, Soonicorn Ventures, and FAAD Network.
The funds will be utilized to scale business operations, acquire solar projects, strengthen marketing efforts, and cover regulatory and legal costs. SustVest has already achieved significant milestones, including over ₹43 crore in Assets Under Management (AUM), 9.3 MW of installed solar capacity, and savings of 94 lakh kg in carbon emissions.
Co-founders Hardik Bhatia and Devansh Shah, both alumni of BITS Pilani, bring deep expertise in fintech and renewable energy. Hardik emphasized, “We are democratizing renewable energy investments, making them accessible to everyone, not just the ultra-wealthy.”
Inflection Point Ventures Co-Founder Ankur Mittal noted, “SustVest’s fractional ownership model removes high entry barriers, enabling smaller investors to participate in renewable energy projects while earning passive income.”
SustVest provides zero-cost solar projects to commercial and industrial clients, offering tariffs up to 50% lower than conventional energy. Its clients include prominent names like Lodha Group, Hitachi, and Mahle Group.
