Suniel Shetty & REGRIP Unite to Manufacture Sustainable and Re-Engineered Tyres!

Bollywood Icon Suniel Shetty announces partnership with REGRIP, India's pioneering re-engineered tyre startup.

In a historic media conference held at a bustling venue in Gurgaon, the Indian entertainment and sustainability sectors were brought together in a momentous announcement. Mr. Suniel Shetty, the iconic Bollywood actor renowned for his versatile performances, stepped onto the stage with beaming enthusiasm, as he revealed his partnership with REGRIP, India’s pioneering re-engineered tyre startup.

The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Chairman of TIE ANGELS, an organization that promotes and supports innovative startups, and Tushar Suhalka, the visionary founder of REGRIP, hailing from Udaipur, Rajasthan.

REGRIP’s mission is centered on transforming used tyres into reusable products, leading the way towards a greener and more sustainable future. Their innovative approach not only addresses the pressing issue of tyre waste but also contributes significantly to the reduction of carbon footprint, making them an essential player in the nation’s sustainability landscape. With an undisclosed but substantial investment into REGRIP, Suniel Shetty aims to take this visionary initiative to new heights, solidifying the startup’s operations and scaling up its impact across the country. Speaking at the event, Shetty expressed his passion for environmental conservation and his excitement about this unique partnership.

Founder of REGRIP, Tushar Suhalka, expressed the company’s vision of creating India’s first refurbished brand, “Because in the transport industry, there is no one whom you can trust as a transporter as a customer, right? For
example, if you have to go and buy a used tire or refurbished tire, then there is no accessibility, availability and education that these refurbished tires can be used as new tires, And they are affordable. So with Sunil (Shetty) sir’s presence we are trying to create visibility and trust.”

The collaboration between a prominent Bollywood star and a pioneering sustainable startup signifies a shift towards more conscious and responsible business practices in the Indian entertainment industry. It showcases the power of influential personalities to champion environmental causes and encourage greater corporate social responsibility.

Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Chairman of TIE ANGELS, applauded the partnership’s potential and its implications for other startups. “When we see celebrities like Suniel Shetty investing their time and resources in sustainable ventures, it inspires confidence among other investors as well. This will undoubtedly pave the way for a host of other socially responsible initiatives to flourish,” Sharma said.

As the event concluded, the attendees were filled with optimism, envisioning a future where the wheels of progress are driven by sustainable practices, and waste is transformed into opportunity. The collaboration between Suniel Shetty and REGRIP serves as a beacon of hope for millions, emphasizing that individuals, regardless of their backgrounds, can come together to effect meaningful change.

In a world where environmental concerns have reached a critical juncture, this partnership brings a glimmer of hope for a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable India. The coming together of the entertainment and sustainability sectors through this momentous collaboration exemplifies that celebrities, entrepreneurs, and investors can collaborate synergistically to create a brighter future for generations to come.
