Sungrow has secured an order to deliver 835 megawatts of solar inverters to Juniper Green Energy, further supporting India’s push toward clean power. The agreement will see Sungrow’s inverters installed at large-scale solar projects across Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

Juniper Green Energy, an independent developer of solar, wind, and hybrid projects, is working toward a target of 10 gigawatts of solar capacity by 2030. This latest collaboration brings the company a step closer to that goal, with Sungrow’s technology expected to boost generation efficiency and operational reliability.

The project will feature Sungrow’s SG320HX-20 string inverters (300 kW each) and SG4400UD-20 central inverters (4.4 MW each). These units offer up to 99% efficiency and come equipped with multiple power point tracking systems, ensuring consistent output even under changing sunlight and weather conditions.

The central inverters have been engineered for performance in high-temperature environments, with the ability to operate at full capacity in temperatures as high as 51°C—important for regions like Rajasthan, which often experience extreme heat.

The inverters will be deployed across several key project sites in Maharashtra (including Chappalgaon, Karanja, and Jalkot) and Rajasthan (notably Fatehgarh and Bhadla), regions identified for their strong solar potential and infrastructure readiness.

Sungrow India’s Country Head, Sunil Badesra, highlighted the significance of the deal, stating that the 835 MW order reflects Juniper Green’s trust in Sungrow’s technology and delivery capabilities. He added that this project reinforces both companies’ role in strengthening India’s renewable power network.

Juniper Green Energy, backed by AT Capital Group, manages utility-scale renewable energy projects and has built a portfolio of over 1.1 GW in operating capacity. With a focus on engineering, procurement, and construction, the company is active across India’s renewable sector and plays a key role in driving the country’s transition to low-carbon energy.

AT Capital Group, which owns Juniper Green, also operates in real estate and finance through Experion Developers and Experion Capital. The group invests across markets in India, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

Sungrow, a longstanding global player in solar and energy storage solutions, has deployed over 740 GW of power electronics globally. The company is widely recognized for its leadership in inverter shipments and its role in powering renewable energy systems in more than 180 countries. This partnership between Juniper Green Energy and Sungrow not only strengthens India’s renewable project pipeline but also sets a benchmark for technology-driven expansion in the country’s solar sector.
