The session was inaugurated by Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy, Honourable Minister for Steel and Heavy Industries, Government of India.
During his address, Ashok Agarwal, CEO of HEV at SUN Mobility, explained, “Our Full-Service Partner model is designed to streamline the setup and operations of EV infrastructure, allowing partners to achieve returns exceeding 15% on investments ranging from INR 2 crores to 10 crores. By combining advanced battery-swapping technology with dedicated support, we aim to enhance accessibility, reduce operational costs, and boost uptime for EVs. This initiative supports our vision of making sustainable mobility a practical solution for businesses and individuals.”
This initiative places SUN Mobility at the forefront of the electric mobility transformation, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable future. Since its launch, the company has established a network of over 650 battery-swapping stations, facilitating 60,000 swaps daily and enabling EVs to cover 1.6 million kilometers each day. SUN Mobility’s recent partnership with Indian Oil integrates battery-swapping technology at over 37,000 fuel stations nationwide, providing customers with a seamless “Battery as a Service” experience.
