STLR – 400: The New 3D Printing Technology for the New Age by Amace Solutions

Amace Solutions Private Limited are India’s first metal 3D printing machine manufactures. At IMTEX exhibition 2022, Bangalore, Amace has developed STLR – 400 which is set to increase the workflow efficiently. Amace also provides solutions according to its customer’s need, they believe in advanced technology which is cost efficient.

Amace Solutions Private Limited is a part of Ace Micromatic Group (AMG). They are India’s first metal 3D printing machine manufacturer. At IMTEX exhibition 2022, Bangalore, Amace exhibited its STLR-400; this innovative product allows printing of large-sized, high-volume components. They also showcased patented sub-systems.

Amace Solution Private Limited was founded in 2018 with a vision of providing high-quality additive manufacturing solutions to the world. Amace has developed STLR – 400 which is set to increase the workflow efficiently. Amace also provides solutions according to its customer’s needs, they believe in advanced technology which is cost-efficient. They believe in constant innovation and hence at every IMTEX exhibition, Amaze has launched new products. Amace uses the SLM manufacturing method which is in a powder bed fusion additive. In a full melting process, this technology helps fuse metal. With 10000+ hours of metal printing, Amace has a good grip on the process. Amace offers various materials which are improved by understanding their material. They offer materials like Aluminium alloy powder which is globally used for additive manufacturing. This alloy absorbs less energy for making, hence it is appropriate for prototyping. Aluminum alloy powder is a good thermal and electrical conductor resisting corrosion. Another material offered by Amace is Stainless Steel powder. This is the widely used material for 3D printing and has great corrosion resistance. Other materials offered by Amace are Maraging steel, Inconel powder, and Titanium alloy powder.

Amace diversified their solutions into different sector like aerospace, automotive, medical etc. One of the greatest applications of additive manufacturing techniques have been seen by aerospace sector. Additive manufacturing evolved from offering just prototypes to full-fledged production. Weight plays an important role in aerospace; Amace provides these 3D printed products which are cost-efficient. These parts are more efficient unlike solid blocks produced. With this technology Amace produces parts with minimal time and offers solutions from designing to post processing. As the automotive industry is advancing, it depends on additive manufacturing techniques to increase its production capability. AM (Additive Manufacturing) contributes a lot in the production of small batches and customizing the parts. At Amace they offer solutions according to their customers need, with customization Amace offers components which are lightweight and cost-efficient. Products manufactured for medical uses traditionally are costly. Amaze helps its client, by providing them with cost-efficient products. Additive manufacturing is being applied to a wide range of engineering areas. It includes manifolds, turbine blades with internal cooling holes, valves, and many others. Because AM does not impose a constraint on traditional manufacturing techniques, the industry has been encouraged to design, develop, and produce parts of higher complexity. Amace solutions encourage designing components with higher complexity without thinking about the feasibility of manufacturing. Amace helps its customer transform their designs into components.

STLR-400 is Amace’s brand new product offering higher productivity with respect to metal printing. It allows quick production of components; hence, we can achieve 20 day lead time reduction. The material used by Amace is lightweight providing almost 30% weight reduction which cannot be produced by traditional technologies. STLR-400 offers large volume builds and can manufacture components having 410mm x 410mm x 450mm dimension also providing variability in layer thickness. Because it is powered by dual 1000W lasers, STLR-400 offers more productivity and high accuracy of the component. STLR-400 offers smart control providing its user easy to use interface and notifies them about the status. It also can be controlled from a remote location. Additional features of STLR-400 are powder management and multi-blade re-coater. Power management efficiently manages powder levels and predicts its values in real-time. Multi-blade re-coater allows the powder to be uniformly distributed during the process.

Amace also cater to the post-processing needs of their customer. With Amace one can get solutions throughout the additive manufacturing process. By offering pre-production services like designing to post processing finishes to enhance the components; Amace does it all. By participating with Amace the clients also gain the solutions provided by Ace Micromatic Group. This eco system includes a different process that is involved with the production of components. As Amace offers efficient solutions to every process for additive manufacturing, it has an edge over its competitors. Amace makes sure that its client receives all the solutions with cost-efficiency.
