STL Expands Leadership Team in the US and Europe to Boost Growth and Innovation

With more than three decades of experience in optical technology, STL stands out as one of the few companies with end-to-end capabilities spanning the entire fiber value chain — from manufacturing glass preforms, fiber, and cables to providing optical connectivity and data center solutions.

STL’s established innovation and design centers, combined with skilled teams across India, North America, and Europe, position the company well to sustain its growth momentum.

Recent key hires include Jimi Barker as Chief Business Officer for Data Centres, ONB; Tom Boswell as Head of Presales for Europe/UK Optical Connectivity; and Amir Sekhawat as Business Head of Copper Business. Jimi brings a strong background in telecommunications and data infrastructure, along with experience serving in the U.S. Military. Tom is a veteran telecom professional with extensive knowledge of access and carrier networks, having spent 30 years with British Telecom/Openreach.
