Sterlite Technologies Ltd (STL), a key player in optical and digital connectivity, has rolled out a new line of next-generation Data Centre solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of AI-driven and high-performance digital infrastructure. The portfolio includes advanced cabling systems and end-to-end connectivity offerings designed for hyperscalers, telecom providers, enterprises, and colocation operators aiming to scale their data operations efficiently and sustainably.
As the global data centre market is forecast to exceed USD 500 billion by 2030, STL’s latest offering addresses mounting demands for faster network speeds, lower latency, and greener operations. STL’s solutions are built on more than three decades of experience in optical networking and are geared toward future-proofing digital infrastructure against growing traffic loads.
STL’s latest portfolio of Data Centre solutions is engineered to meet the evolving needs of high-performance digital infrastructure, with a focus on speed, scalability, and sustainability. The product range features both copper and fibre cabling systems, specifically developed for smart campuses, modern enterprise setups, and next-generation data centres. These systems are designed to support a wide range of applications, including data transfer, audio-visual integration, and security infrastructure, offering dependable and efficient performance.
Among the standout offerings are high-speed riser and campus fibre cabling that ensure low-latency connectivity for critical networks. The portfolio also includes pre-terminated multi-fibre assemblies with LC/MPO connectors—an optimal solution for environments where space is limited and scalability is essential. Another key highlight is STL Celesta, a high-density inter-building riser (IBR) system designed to deliver seamless, low-latency communication between data centre facilities, making it ideal for future-ready, large-scale deployments.
All STL Data Centre products are manufactured at world-class facilities and are certified under global standards including ANSI/TIA-942, TIA-568, and ISO 11801. They also come with a 25-year performance warranty, underscoring STL’s commitment to reliability and long-term value.
To enhance distribution and customer access across India, STL has partnered with Tech Data – India, a subsidiary of TD SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX). Tech Data brings with it a broad channel network across over 70 cities, as well as expertise in high-growth sectors like AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and edge computing.
“As STL’s exclusive distributor in India, we’re uniquely positioned to help expand their reach and deepen customer engagement,” said Bejoy Thekkekara, Senior Director – Networking, Tech Data India. “Our strength lies in enabling new partner relationships, accelerating market access, and offering critical financial solutions through Tech Data Capital to support STL’s growth.”
Commenting on the launch, Rahul Puri, CEO of STL’s Optical Networking division, said: “Today’s data centres must support not just scale, but intelligence. As AI transforms the digital landscape, our infrastructure needs to evolve with it. At STL, we combine state-of-the-art technology with custom design services to deliver tailored solutions for every customer. We’re not just supplying components—we’re laying the foundation for the digital economy of the future.”
STL continues to focus on building end-to-end solutions for high-capacity networks across 5G, fibre-to-the-home (FTTx), rural connectivity, and enterprise deployments. The expansion into advanced data centre products further reinforces its position as a key enabler of India’s and the world’s digital transformation.
