Sterlite Electric announced it has secured contracts worth Rs 7,500 crore in FY25, bolstered by a strong Rs 2,400 crore order intake during the March quarter. The company’s diverse order book includes high-performance conductors, power cables, Optical Ground Wire (OPGW), and specialized EPC services, with a particular emphasis on strengthening India’s green energy transmission infrastructure. Sterlite Electric is also expanding its global footprint, notably in the Americas, European Union, Africa, and the Middle East, through its advanced conductor and OPGW solutions.

In Q4, the company secured multiple high-profile orders, including TBCB (tariff-based competitive bidding) projects and the supply of high-performance conductors through EPC, which are crucial for evacuating renewable energy to the grid. The OPGW segment saw considerable interest from PGCIL and state transmission utilities, resulting in repeat orders. Export demand for conductors continued to rise in key markets like the Americas, EU, Africa, and the Middle East, with OPGW also gaining traction in Europe and the Middle East.
