Sterlite Electric Secures ₹1,500 Crore in Orders in Q1, Driven by Green Energy and Exports

Sterlite Electric Ltd announced that it secured orders worth ₹1,500 crore during the April–June quarter of the current financial year, supported by strong demand for green energy infrastructure and continued growth in exports. This performance marks a strong beginning to FY 2025–26 and reflects robust demand for the company’s portfolio of advanced conductors, power cables, and Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) solutions across both Indian and international markets.

Formerly known as Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd, the company stated that the Q1 orders span multiple critical infrastructure categories. These include high-performance conductors for green energy corridors, advanced medium- and high-voltage cables, Medium Voltage Covered Conductors (MVCC), and OPGW products designed for digitally enabled power networks.

Sterlite Electric has also won contracts for upgrading and reconductoring existing transmission lines from various state utilities, reinforcing its role in modernizing India’s grid infrastructure. On the global front, the company continues to expand its footprint, with regular exports to Latin America, SAARC nations, North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
