Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (SWREL) announced on Tuesday that it has obtained two significant contracts valued at ₹512 crore. In a recent regulatory filing, the company detailed that the new contracts include a 250 MWp DC solar project in Gujarat and a Letter of Award (LOA) for a 65 MWp DC project in Maharashtra, both commissioned by private independent power producers (IPPs).

Commenting on the recent contract wins, Amit Jain, Global CEO of SWREL, stated, “Both orders come from repeat clients, highlighting our strong execution capabilities. This year, out of the six major domestic orders we received, five were from existing clients, demonstrating the trust they have in us as partners in their growth within the renewable market.”

The fiscal year 2024-2025 is expected to see a return to full profitability for the EPC leader, which is associated with the Reliance Group. Reliance is set to initiate its extensive renewable energy rollout next year.

Currently, SWREL boasts a portfolio exceeding 19.4 GWp, which includes both commissioned projects and those at various stages of construction. Additionally, the company oversees an operation and maintenance (O&M) portfolio of 8.2 GWp solar projects, including those developed by third parties.
