Sterling and Wilson Secures Rs 504 Crore Domestic Solar Project

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) announced a new order worth approximately Rs 504 crore from a private Independent Power Producer (IPP) for a solar PV project in Rajasthan. The project involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of a 305 MW AC / 396 MWp DC PV plant for a repeat client.

Amit Jain, Global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, highlighted the company’s growing presence in the domestic Private IPP market and emphasized its robust value proposition. He noted that alongside a strong pipeline of private projects, upcoming bids from public sector undertakings (PSUs) in the fourth quarter position the company well to achieve its annual order targets.
