Stellantis India, the renowned automaker, has announced a marginal price increase across all models under its Citroen and Jeep brands, effective from April 30, 2024. The company cites rising input costs and operational expenses as the primary reasons for this decision.
According to the statement released by Stellantis India on Tuesday, the price hike will amount to a modest 0.5 percent across the entire range of Citroen vehicles and selected models from the Jeep brand. This adjustment will lead to an incremental price rise ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 17,000 across different models.
Explaining the rationale behind the price adjustment, the company emphasized the need to address the escalating input costs and operational expenses while ensuring the continued delivery of innovative vehicles to its esteemed customers.
Stellantis India’s Citroen brand offers a diverse range of vehicles, including the compact car C3, SUVs such as C3 Aircross and C5 Aircross, and the electric car E-C3. Prices for Citroen models currently range from Rs 6.16 lakh to Rs 37.67 lakh, as listed on the company’s website.
Meanwhile, under the Jeep brand, Stellantis India markets popular models like the Jeep Compass and Jeep Meridian. The Jeep Compass is priced between Rs 20.69 lakh and Rs 26.19 lakh, while the Jeep Meridian falls within the price range of Rs 33.6 lakh to Rs 36.97 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
Stellantis India’s decision to implement a marginal price adjustment reflects its commitment to adapting to current economic realities while ensuring the continued satisfaction of its valued customers.
