SRF Limited, a diversified chemicals and materials manufacturer, announced its consolidated financial results for the second quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. The unaudited results were approved by the Board of Directors at its meeting held earlier today.
The company’s consolidated revenue rose 6% year-on-year to ₹3,640 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to ₹3,424 crore in the same quarter last year. Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) increased 56% to ₹650 crore from ₹417 crore, while Profit After Tax (PAT) jumped 93% to ₹388 crore from ₹201 crore during the same period.
Commenting on the performance, Chairman and Managing Director Ashish Bharat Ram said, “This has been a strong quarter driven primarily by our Chemicals business. Despite global uncertainties, we are confident of maintaining momentum through the remainder of the financial year.”
The Chemicals Business posted a 23% increase in revenue to ₹1,667 crore from ₹1,358 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Operating profit rose 96% from ₹246 crore to ₹481 crore. The Fluorochemicals Business achieved record sales volumes for refrigerants, supported by favorable price movements. During the quarter, the company entered a strategic collaboration with The Chemours Company to work together on fluoropolymers, which is expected to support long-term growth.
The Specialty Chemicals Business reported higher volumes and the successful launch of new products, driving positive momentum. Operational efficiencies implemented in both the Fluorochemicals and Specialty Chemicals segments contributed to improved profitability. The Technical Textiles Business faced challenges from aggressive import pricing of Nylon Tyre Cord Fabrics and Belting Fabrics from China, along with weak demand for Polyester Industrial Yarn.
The Other Businesses segment recorded a 19% decline in revenue to ₹91 crore from ₹113 crore in the same period last year, while operating profit fell 56% to ₹8 crore from ₹17 crore. Lower demand in the Coated and Laminated Fabrics segments due to prevailing market conditions impacted performance.
For the first half of FY26, SRF’s consolidated revenue increased 8% to ₹7,459 crore from ₹6,888 crore in the same period last year. Profit After Tax grew 81% to ₹820 crore from ₹454 crore in H1 FY25. In line with its partnership with The Chemours Company for manufacturing and supplying fluoropolymers and fluoroelastomers, SRF’s Board has revised the project’s total investment from ₹595 crore to ₹745 crore following updates to the project scope. The project will be executed in phases, with completion expected by December 2026.
Rahul Jain, President and Chief Financial Officer, will step down from his position effective December 12, 2025, to pursue new professional opportunities. During his tenure, he significantly strengthened SRF’s financial structure and governance framework. The company has initiated the process to appoint his successor and ensure a seamless transition.
