Sony India Launches New Audio Products in ULT Power Sound Series

Sony India has introduced the latest additions to its ULT Power Sound series, featuring a new lineup of wireless speakers and accessories. The new models include the ULT Tower 9, ULT Tower 9AC, ULT Field 5, ULT Field 3, and the ULTMIC1 wireless microphone. These products are designed to offer enhanced sound performance, with all speakers including a dedicated ULT button that allows users to switch between bass-enhancement modes.

The ULT Tower 9 and ULT Tower 9AC are large-format party speakers designed for both indoor and outdoor gatherings. Equipped with 360° sound output and dynamic lighting, they are built to create an immersive entertainment experience. Both models offer two selectable bass modes (ULT1 and ULT2) for customised audio performance, along with microphone and guitar inputs for live performances. Additional features include a built-in handle and wheels for mobility, a water-resistant top panel, and an integrated power bank for charging devices.

The ULT Tower 9 offers up to 25 hours of battery life, with fast charging support for quick power-ups, making it ideal for portable use. In contrast, the ULT Tower 9AC operates via direct plug-in power, making it a perfect choice for continuous indoor events without worrying about battery life. Both models also support Party Connect, allowing up to 100 compatible speakers to be linked together, and feature Sound Field Optimization to automatically adjust audio output based on room acoustics.

The ULT Field 5 is a rugged portable speaker built for outdoor enthusiasts. Compact yet powerful, it carries an IP67 rating, ensuring resistance to water, dust, shock, and saltwater. Its battery lasts up to 25 hours, making it suitable for long trips or outdoor parties. The model includes a 10-band equalizer for personalised sound tuning, a carrying strap for convenience, and multi-device connection support.

For optimal playback in noisy or open-air environments, the ULT Field 5 includes Sound Field Optimization, ensuring clear and balanced sound. It also supports Party Connect for synchronising multiple speakers and is compatible with Sony’s Sound Connect App for easy controls and adjustments directly from a smartphone.

The ULT Field 3 is a smaller, more portable alternative to the Field 5, offering many of the same features in a lighter package. It retains the IP67 water and dust resistance rating, making it equally suitable for outdoor use. With up to 24 hours of battery life, this model is built for day-long use without frequent charging.

Like its larger counterpart, the ULT Field 3 includes a 10-band equalizer, multi-device connectivity, Sound Field Optimization, and Party Connect functionality. Its compact form factor and included strap make it easy to carry, while app compatibility ensures that audio settings and controls are always within reach.

The ULTMIC1 wireless microphone is designed to complement the ULT speaker lineup. It delivers clear vocal pickup with minimal background noise, ensuring professional-quality sound for karaoke sessions or live performances. The microphone’s Duet Assist feature automatically balances volume levels during dual performances, making it ideal for collaborative singing.

Its plug-and-play setup via a USB dongle ensures quick and hassle-free connectivity. The ULTMIC1 offers up to 20 hours of battery life and supports fast charging, delivering up to 120 minutes of use with just a 10-minute charge. USB charging compatibility adds further convenience for users on the go. Customers who purchase either the ULT Tower 9 or ULT Tower 9AC will receive a complimentary Sony Wireless Microphone valued at ₹19,990 (MRP).
