Sonny’s Enterprises, a leading producer of conveyorized car wash systems and supplies, has opened a new Global Capability Center (GCC) in Pune, India. This move is part of the company’s broader plan to strengthen its technology development and global support systems.
The Pune center will focus on advancing Sonny’s Quivio platform, which combines software and hardware tools designed for car wash businesses. The office currently employs 25 people, with plans to grow to 100 by year’s end. Teams based in Pune will work on engineering, data science, and customer operations.
“This is an important step in our international growth,” said CEO Curt Hutchins. “India brings a strong tech talent pool that will help us move faster and better serve our customers.” The new location is expected to work closely with Sonny’s teams in North America, helping to coordinate work across time zones and regions. The company also plans to build a workplace culture in Pune that mirrors its core values and emphasizes skill development and collaboration.
Chief Technology Officer Eashwer Srinivasan noted the Pune team will play a key role in scaling the company’s tech systems and delivering improved tools for car wash operators. Executive Vice President Tim Elhefnawy added that the new center supports the company’s broader shift toward more agile and efficient global operations. The GCC was officially opened on May 21, 2025, with senior leadership in attendance.
