Solex Energy Limited will unveil its TAPI RQ solar module, which combines N-Type TOPCon technology with a quarter-cell design, at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026. The exhibition is being held from October 22 to 24 at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.

The company said the module can deliver power output of up to 670 Wp and efficiency of up to 24.80%. It is designed for utility-scale and other large solar installations where output, durability and consistent performance are important. The module includes an IP68-rated junction box that protects against dust and water ingress.

The launch follows Solex’s earlier product introductions at REI. In 2024, the company presented a solar module using rectangular cells, followed by the concept unveiling of its TAPI Rear Contact module in 2025. The TAPI RQ launch marks its third consecutive year of introducing a new solar technology at the exhibition.

Dr Chetan Shah, Chairman and Managing Director of Solex Energy, said innovation remained central to the company’s growth plans. He said TAPI RQ was intended to provide higher efficiency, reliability and long-term value to customers, while supporting the development of India’s domestic solar manufacturing industry.

Under its Vision 2030 roadmap, Solex plans to build an integrated renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem with 10 GW of solar cell capacity, 10 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing capacity, and 2 GW of wafer and ingot capacity. The company has proposed an investment of ₹14,300 crore towards this plan.

Solex has also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Gujarat government outlining a proposed investment of ₹4,000 crore. The plan includes a 5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility to be developed in two phases of 2 GW and 3 GW, alongside a 10 GWh BESS manufacturing facility.

The company is also seeking partnerships with dealers and distributors in India and overseas markets, including the United States and Europe, to expand the reach of its solar products. Visitors can view TAPI RQ and other Solex products at Hall 10, Booth B193, during REI Expo 2026.

Headquartered in Surat, Gujarat, Solex Energy has been involved in solar manufacturing since 1995. It operates an automated photovoltaic module manufacturing facility at Tadkeshwar, Gujarat, with a production capacity of 4 GW. The company supplies solar modules to domestic and international markets and provides engineering, procurement and construction services for utility-scale, commercial, industrial and institutional projects.
