On Friday, SolarfiX India announced its collaboration with Kanemasa, a Japan-based company, to establish a significant solar module manufacturing capacity of 10 gigawatts (GW) in India by the year 2030. This ambitious capacity expansion will be executed in phases and will be distributed across various states, including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan, as shared by SolarfiX’s CEO and co-founder, Anket Kapoor.
As part of this partnership, Kanemasa will serve as the technological ally for SolarfiX India, supporting its extensive plans for developing the targeted 10 GW of solar energy capacity by 2030. This system has the potential to boost energy generation by over 120 percent when compared to traditional fixed solar installations.
