Solar Industries Secures ₹887 Crore Domestic Contract

Solar Industries India Ltd. announced on November 5 that it has secured a substantial order worth ₹887 crore from Singareni Collieries Company Ltd. This order marks the second contract obtained by the company within a span of two days. The order involves the supply of SME explosives, LDC explosives, and initiating systems for the blasting of overburden, with a delivery timeline extending over two years.

Additionally, on the previous day, Solar Industries revealed that it had won a ₹399.4 crore export order from an undisclosed international client for the supply of defense products, which is set to be fulfilled over three years. However, details regarding the client, the specific defense products involved, and the overall status of the company’s order book following these new contracts were not disclosed.
