AMS3D based out of Pune signed MoUs with three engineering colleges in a span of two weeks which will enable the Reskilling and Upskilling initiatives among the engineering students and faculties. During the next year, AMS3D Metrology will be organising various workshops on the latest Industry Trends in Metrology and Automation in these Partner Colleges.
Aiming to bridge the skill gap between engineering graduates and industry, Pune based AMS3D is on a mission to collaborate with institutions, and upskill students and faculties with advanced metrology solutions. Taking this into action recently the company signed MoU with three engineering colleges, starting with Pune based Genba Sopanrao Moze College of Engineering, which is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Pune University.
On 14th April 2022, AMS3D Metrology India Managing Director Hari Bhawar signed an MoU with Dr Ratna Raja Kumar Jambi, the Principal of Genba Sopanrao Moze College of Engineering. With this MoU Skill Development, Reskilling and Upskilling, Objective-based Training and Workshops Placement Assistance, and other related Value Initiatives will be undertaken by AMS3D Metrology for the students and faculties of the college.
They will also conduct practical training on the latest Industry Trends and Technologies in Metrology and Automation in the AMS3D Metrology office. “The collaboration with Genba Sopanrao Moze College of Engineering will help the students to generate employment opportunities, and the industry will also get benefitted from the industry ready skilled manpower. We also will assist the students in establishing various start-ups, which will help the country to strengthen the manufacturing ecosystem”, said Hari Bhawar, Managing Director of AMS3D Metrology India Pvt Ltd.
After the signing of the first MoU, AMS3D within the next two weeks signed MoU with another two engineering colleges in Pune – DY Patil College of Engineering Lohegaon, and Sidhant College of Engineering. AMS3D is planning to expand their network across Maharashtra within the next one year, and then look at collaborating with engineering colleges on the national level.
With the collaboration, AMS3D will also provide assistance to the colleges for the placement of industry-ready trained students. They will also support students with internships and give assistance in completing projects as part of the curriculum.
The students will have the opportunity to use advanced metrology labs, which AMS3D will establish in collaboration with these engineering colleges. AMS3D Metrology is a preferred partner for industries, and a wide range of industries are using their services. They are the pan India sales and service partners of PMT Alpha Arms, and the rich industry experience will help the academies to build skills of engineering students who make an impact in the industry.
