Signify, the global leader in lighting, has successfully illuminated 55 villages in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh as part of its ‘HarGaon Roshan’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project. This initiative, which has touched the lives of over 70,000 people, promotes safety for women, supports tourism, enhances security, and encourages socio-economic progress through sustainable lighting solutions. In collaboration with the NGO Haritika, the project includes the installation of 2,000 energy-efficient LED streetlights, 700 solar home lighting systems, and 100 solar streetlights across these tribal villages, ensuring both resident and tourist safety.
