Siemens Stiftung has partnered with Siemens Limited through a Memorandum of Understanding to implement Experimento India, a digital Open Education Resource (OER), across schools in India. Integrated with it’s Project Jigyaasa, the resource will be available to all school students to enhance STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning.

Experimento by the company provides a variety of multimedia tools, including videos for project-based learning, lesson plans, worksheets, quizzes, and question banks for educators and students. This resource, incorporated into Project Jigyaasa, promotes curiosity-driven learning to deepen STEM knowledge. Pratham Foundation is the project’s implementation partner.

Sunil Mathur, CEO of Siemens Limited, noted that India’s youth need hands-on learning experiences to reach their potential. He added that its education strategy supports the Indian government’s Skill India mission by fostering a lifelong learning approach.

Dr Nina Smidt, CEO and Board Spokesperson of the company, emphasized that adapting the Experimento program for India ensures resources are locally relevant, with digital content created in collaboration with Indian educators and offered in local languages to break language barriers in science and technology learning.
