Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd. (SPRL) announced a total income of Rs. 87.51 crores for the third quarter ending December 31, 2024, reflecting an 11.5% growth compared to the same period last year. The company’s EBITDA for Q3 stood at Rs. 19.78 crores, marking a 9.6% year-on-year increase, and maintaining an EBITDA margin of 22.6%. The net profit for the quarter was Rs. 12.10 crores, a rise of 12.3% from Q3 FY24.
Krishnakumar Srinivasan, Managing Director & CEO, emphasized the company’s solid market position: “SPRL has sustained its strong growth trajectory, achieving a 11.5% YoY increase in total income for Q3FY25 and 15.3% growth for the nine months ending FY25. This reflects our dominant presence in the Indian auto sector, both in the OEM market and the aftermarket.”
The quarter also saw SPRL’s expansion with the acquisition of TGFEL Precision Engineering Limited (TGFEL), which operates two manufacturing plants in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, catering to industries including automotive, electrical, consumer goods, and medical sectors.
For the first nine months of FY25, SPRL’s consolidated total income grew by 15.3% to Rs. 264.54 crores, with EBITDA increasing by 13.6% to Rs. 59.79 crores.
In terms of segment performance, while the passenger vehicle segment showed moderate growth, the two-wheeler sector experienced strong double-digit expansion. SPRL continues to focus on producing pistons, piston pins, piston rings, and engine valves for the automotive industry.
