Speaking at the launch of the Butibori center, Chandrasekhar V, Managing Director of GMMCO India, remarked “This is a significant milestone for us. Over the past decade, we’ve grown steadily, and this expansion is a testament to our commitment to prioritizing customer needs and operational excellence. Our goal is to provide the best service with the fastest turnaround time, and these new facilities will help us achieve that.”

He continued, saying, “With an enhanced Machine Rebuild Center (MRC) and Component Rebuild Center (CRC), we are further strengthening our presence across India. This expansion underscores our role in supporting India’s infrastructure development. By extending the lifespan of equipment, minimizing downtime, and ensuring sustainable progress in sectors such as mining, construction, energy, and transportation, we contribute significantly to the nation’s economic growth and industrial self-sufficiency.”

The Butibori MRC spans 10 acres with a 1,40,000 sq. ft. facility that serves as a comprehensive hub for parts management and service operations. The warehouse handles over 30,000 items and processes 45,000 transactions each month, supported by an advanced digital warehouse management system to ensure 24-48 hour parts delivery, optimizing machine uptime. The facility can accommodate 100 machines and offers rebuilding and repair services for 150 machines and 750 hydraulic cylinders annually. Additionally, it has a hydraulic hose assembly capacity of 24,000 units per year, further enhancing its service capabilities.

The Hingna CRC, covering 4 acres and 74,000 sq. ft., is dedicated to component rebuilding and testing. It is capable of overhauling 750 engines and 400 transmissions annually, ensuring that equipment remains in peak operating condition. The facility also houses a NABL-accredited SOS Lab, which can process up to 210,000 used oil samples for condition monitoring and preventive maintenance. Together, these facilities provide comprehensive support for machine repair, rebuilding, and maintenance, contributing to enhanced efficiency and extended equipment lifespan.

With a team of over 250 skilled professionals and cutting-edge infrastructure, the Butibori and Hingna centers will streamline service response times, reduce repair turnaround times, improve parts availability, and enable proactive machine health monitoring. This integrated approach will help customers reduce total ownership costs, extend equipment life, and keep projects on schedule.
