Shivtek Spechemi  Industries announced plans to invest ₹650 crore in setting up two new manufacturing facilities in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The investment aims to significantly scale up the company’s production capabilities and extend its reach in both domestic and international markets.

The Gujarat plant will be strategically located near Hazira port, allowing for efficient logistics and improved export connectivity. The Rajasthan unit, meanwhile, will serve northern markets through its proximity to key distribution networks.

With these additions, Shivtek’s total installed capacity will increase from 1.5 lakh metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) to 6.5 lakh MTPA. The company expects the new facilities to create over 500 jobs within three years of becoming operational.

Currently, Shivtek operates three manufacturing plants: one in Dahej, Gujarat (1,12,800 MTPA), one in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh (22,800 MTPA), and another in Rajpura, Punjab (14,400 MTPA). Construction of the new units is scheduled to begin in 2026, with commercial production slated between 2028 and 2029. The combined development will cover approximately 100 acres.

“These facilities will enhance our operational efficiency and broaden our product reach while adhering to the highest environmental standards,” said Amitt Nenwani, Managing Director of ShivtekSpechemi Industries.

In addition to expanding capacity, the new plants will also mark the domestic production debut of several high-grade chlorinated compounds. This is expected to reduce import dependence and enhance India’s competitiveness in chemical exports.

Shivtek Spechemi Industries Ltd, established in 1987, is a prominent Indian manufacturer and exporter of specialty chemicals, including plasticizers, chlorinated paraffins, hydrochloric acid, and solvents. The company operates three manufacturing facilities located in Dahej (Gujarat), Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh), and Rajpura (Punjab), collectively offering a production capacity of 150,000 metric tonnes per annum.

In a significant expansion move, Shivtek Spechemi announced a ₹650 crore investment to establish two new manufacturing units in Gujarat and Rajasthan. These facilities are projected to increase the company’s total production capacity to 650,000 metric tonnes per annum and are expected to generate over 500 jobs within three years.

The Gujarat plant, strategically located near Hazira port, will enhance logistics efficiency for both domestic and international markets, while the Rajasthan facility will serve northern distribution hubs. Construction is slated to begin in 2026, with production commencing between 2028 and 2029.

Shivtek Spechemi is committed to environmentally responsible manufacturing, operating zero-emission plants and engaging in initiatives like tree-planting drives.
