Gurugram based Sharpedge Tools & Technologies Pvt Ltd was one of the early companies that got associated with REGO-FIX when they started promoting their powRgrip technology in India – a smart tool holder with Industry4.0, provides excellent runout, high vibration dampening as well as easy and secure handling for demanding high-speed milling and drilling. Within just two years, the Sharpedge team was able to penetrate the North and Eastern market, which finally enabled it to excel and bag the Best Dealership Award of REGO-FIX from the Indian market.
Swiss-based REGO-FIX awarded Sharpedge Tools & Technologies Pvt Ltd as the Best Dealership for 2021 from the Indian region. Sharpedge is founded by Amit Tanwar an Application Engineering turned Entrepreneur providing complete tooled-up solutions for the manufacturers majorly to North India, as well as to the East India market. An early partner of REGO-FIX in India, Sharpedge started promoting powRgrip technology to their customers in 2019.
A machine tool domain expert Amit Tanwar worked as an application engineer in leading multinational companies like Makino, Haas Automation, Komet, and Premier Limited before venturing into his entrepreneurship journey in the year 2016. Headquartered at Gurugram, Sharpedge started the dealership of Walter Tools and added powRgrip and other REGO-FIX solutions in their portfolio in 2019. Battling pandemic restrictions Amit Tanwar and his team members Sandeep Yadav and Mayur Tanwar Sharpedge were able to penetrate the market, create awareness about the technology.
Talking about the achievement, Amit Tanwar, Founder & Director of Sharpedge Tools & Technology said, “Our journey of around one and a half years has been full of hurdles. The initial days was more about creating awareness among the market. "The technology demonstrations and customer trials helped us to build our market", added Sandeep Yadav, Sales Manager at Sharpedge. In 2021, Sharpedge Tools has successfully led the first power grip installation at a leading auto component manufacturer, with the trials completed in 6 months and installation in 8 months.
Amit Tanwar with a long association with Makino helped to get the powRgrip to be installed at Makino Technology centre. Along with that Sharpedge were successfully installed power grip tooling system across Rohtak, Manesar, Punjab, Ludhiana, Kanpur, and Jamshedpur. “At Sharpedge, we provide complete tooled-up projects from the process selection to stabilization support. We provide prompt support to our customers with the requisite tooling for any kind of components, with the practical implementation at the customer’s shop floor by our dedicated application team,” informed Amit Tanwar.
