Servotech Power Systems Ltd, an EV charger manufacturers in India, has secured a substantial order for 1800 DC Fast EV Chargers from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), one of the leading oil and gas companies in India. The project, valued at 120 Crores, entails Servotech’s responsibility for manufacturing, supplying, installing, and strategically deploying these 1800 EV chargers across the nation. The focus is particularly on BPCL petrol pumps in major cities, forming an integral part of the BPCL E-drive Project.

Servotech Power Systems, an NSE-listed organization, leverages over two decades of experience and expertise in the electronics space to develop tech-enabled EV charging solutions. The company offers a wide range of AC and DC chargers compatible with different electric vehicles, serving various applications in both commercial and domestic settings. As a brand with a pan-India presence, Servotech is working on the innovation and the distribution of high-end LED lighting and UV-C disinfection products. Additionally, the company extends its reach into the healthcare sector by distributing medical-grade oxygen concentrators and their components.

The comprehensive project encompasses two variants of EV chargers, with capacities of 60 kW and 120 kW. Servotech aims to complete this extensive undertaking by the end of 2024. The primary objective is to establish e-mobility touchpoints that optimize transactions, enhance availability, simplify discovery, and facilitate navigation for EV users. The overarching goal is to ensure convenient access to an expanding EV charging network, fostering the growth of electric vehicles across the country.

The company has already successfully supplied 4000 EV Chargers across India as of January 2024. The two entities had previously worked together to transform the E-Mobility landscape, securing an order to supply and install 2649 AC EV Chargers at different locations across the country for BPCL’s E-drive project. Impressively, Servotech has already completed 36% of the supply and installation process, with the entire project slated for completion by March 2024.
