SEPC, a provider of integrated engineering solutions, announced on Thursday that it has secured a ₹650-crore contract to develop solar power infrastructure totaling 133 megawatts in Maharashtra. According to the company’s statement, the contract was awarded by Parmeshi Urja Ltd, based in Kolkata. The work involves implementing solar energy projects at 26 separate sites spread across four districts in the state: Sambhaji Nagar, Dhule, Solapur, and Nanded.
The project scope includes the complete design, engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power systems, along with associated civil and structural works. This initiative is aligned with the central government’s PM-KUSUM Yojana, which promotes solar power adoption in rural and agricultural sectors.
SEPC expects the project to be completed within 12 to 18 months from the start date. The company continues to concentrate on delivering end-to-end solutions across sectors including energy, water infrastructure, and industrial processing.
