“Some of the products we launched today have been developed out of India for the globe, while others have come from the globe to India. - C8M Alternator for ICE Engines:
This high-performance alternator, with an output of up to 200A, delivers significant fuel savings due to its benchmark-setting efficiency and advanced interface regulator. The launch reaffirms SEG Automotive’s commitment to innovation in the ICE segment, even as the market shifts towards electrification. - 48V Electric Drive System and Drive Unit Controller:
Building on its entry into the electric vehicle (EV) market in 2018, SEG Automotive has solidified its position as a key player in Light Electric Mobility (LEM) for eRickshaws and other electric vehicles. The 48V system exemplifies their commitment to cleaner, more efficient solutions for urban transportation. - 3-in-1 Electric Drive Unit:
A groundbreaking innovation, this integrated unit combines a motor, controller, and transmission into one product. As the first in the market, it simplifies the electrification process and delivers unmatched performance, showcasing SEG Automotive’s technological prowess.
Strengthening Electrification Leadership
Anil Kumar MR, Managing Director, SEG Automotive India, emphasized the company’s dual commitment to ICE and electrification. “While we have achieved market leadership in ICE with our innovative products, our global strategy of ‘Last Man Standing’ ensures we remain committed to enhancing ICE technology. Simultaneously, we are expanding our electrification portfolio to be among the top players globally, offering product-fit solutions for local and international markets,” he said.
Highlighting SEG India’s pivotal role, Mr Kumar added, “We are proud to evolve as a centre of competence for Light Electric Mobility (LEM), catering to global needs. We are also developing high-voltage system solutions with a portfolio ranging from 30kW to 250kW. This showcases our ability to #LeadTheChange based on market demands.”
