Seco Tools has partnered with Fusion Coolant Systems which offers an environmentally-friendly coolant technology that can simultaneously lower overall carbon footprint and increase overall performance. Both companies aim to make machining easier and more effective for manufacturing leaders and engineers while maintaining environmental awareness.
Rob Keenan, President of Seco Tools, North America said, “We've had a working partnership with Fusion Coolant Systems for many years, since the inception of the technology, which they developed years ago. We've cooperated on multiple customer projects and interacted on the R&D side to come up with solutions that help solve customer issues. So, the transition to formalizing the partnership was natural to us.”

Seco Tools believe that Fusion’s state-of-the-art solution is going to help medical customers, especially, in their medical device manufacturing processes. In the upcoming, Inspiration through Innovation (ITI) virtual event, both Brian Ahlborn, CEO of Fusion Coolant Systems and Rob Keenan, will be on the panel to discuss this partnership and how it can benefit medical machining engineers.

“Fusion’s Pure-Cut™ solution allows simultaneously dry, or near-dry machining, as well as improve operating efficiencies,” said Brian Ahlborn. “The Seco team has worked towards using this technology in their tooling on applications that have now been running for several years in several industries. Our relationship has grown naturally while helping customers solve complex problems.”
Medical ITI 2021 will be showcasing collaborative solutions to address common challenges in machining orthopaedic parts, complemented by a seminar program addressing the big issues facing the medical manufacturing segment. Registration for the event is now open. The virtual event will be held from April 21-22. For more details. Visit https://event.secotools.com/MedicalITI2021
