This collaboration aims to bridge the gap in environmental data for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, enabling more precise assessments of buildings’ environmental impacts.
Buildings contribute to 39% of global carbon emissions, and with 50% of existing structures expected to remain operational by 2050, Schneider Electric emphasizes retrofitting as a critical solution. Retrofitting existing buildings has the potential to cut lifecycle emissions by up to 83%, highlighting its importance in addressing climate challenges.
Through this partnership, detailed environmental data for Schneider Electric’s MEP products will now be available on the One Click LCA platform.
