Schneider Electric has launched a festive outdoor campaign in Pune that uses its electrical switches to create a Ganpati installation. The campaign forms part of the company’s wider festive consumer engagement programme for its Home Solutions business. The installation uses the form of a Schneider Electric switch to recreate Ganpati’s blessing hand in the traditional abhaya mudra. The familiar electrical product has been incorporated into the installation as a visual representation of a festive blessing.
The installation carries the line “Nirantar, Nirvighna Raha”, linking the campaign to Schneider Electric Home Solutions and the idea of uninterrupted power and everyday convenience. The campaign is supported by a film that shows how an everyday switch can be transformed into a festive expression. The initiative is the first in a series of festive installations planned by Schneider Electric, with subsequent executions expected to take different forms while retaining the switch as the central visual element.
The company said the campaign is also aimed at engaging consumers during the festive season, when many households renovate their homes and consider purchases across appliances, electronics and other categories. Schneider Electric is using outdoor and digital touchpoints to connect consumers with its Home Solutions portfolio during this period.
Digital platforms linked to the campaign allow consumers to learn more about Schneider Electric’s products and home solutions. The approach is intended to connect the festive installation with the broader home-upgrade journey, including electrical products and home automation solutions.
Ratnesh Pandey, Vice President, Marketing, Schneider Electric India, said, “Festivals in India are moments of deep emotional connection, and we wanted to show up in a way that felt native to that moment rather than layered on top of it. The Ganpati installation takes something as familiar as a switch and reimagines it as a symbol that makes people pause and take notice. At the same time, festivities are an important moment when consumers are renovating their homes and investing in new appliances and technology. We want to make Schneider Electric Home Solutions a natural part of that consideration and make it easier for consumers to discover the right solutions as part of their overall festive purchase journey. That, for us, is where innovation and cultural relevance come together.”
The campaign builds on Schneider Electric’s focus on its switches portfolio and its Advancing Energy Tech proposition. The company has also recently highlighted the premium Unica X range as part of its switches portfolio. Schneider Electric provides energy management and automation technologies for homes, buildings, data centres, industries, infrastructure and power networks. Its portfolio includes electrical equipment, connected devices, software, digital services and automation solutions. The company has around 160,000 employees and one million partners across more than 100 countries. It works across electrification, automation and digitalisation, with solutions designed to improve energy efficiency and operational performance.
