Schneider Electric, a global leader in digital energy management and automation, has announced a strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to drive the large-scale deployment of sustainable, AI-ready data centers. The partnership aims to support the rapidly growing demand for advanced computing infrastructure across Europe, with a specific focus on enabling a new wave of AI factories.
Announced during the NVIDIA GTC event in Paris, the alliance combines Schneider Electric’s sustainability expertise with NVIDIA’s leadership in accelerated computing. Together, the companies will advance R&D efforts in power management, cooling technologies, intelligent controls, and high-density rack systems to meet the European Union’s ambitions under its “InvestAI” program — a €200 billion initiative to advance AI capabilities across the continent.
This collaboration supports the European Commission’s “AI Continent Action Plan,” which includes the setup of 13 AI factories and up to five AI gigafactories across Europe. Schneider and NVIDIA are working hand-in-hand to co-develop modular, scalable infrastructure that will not only meet today’s AI workload demands but also adapt to the evolving requirements of future applications in industry, research, and innovation.
As part of the initiative, Schneider Electric has introduced new infrastructure solutions such as the EcoStruxure™ Pod Data Center — a prefabricated, scalable system designed for rapid deployment. In parallel, the company has rolled out an OCP-inspired rack architecture optimized for NVIDIA’s GB200 NVL72 platform, marking its integration into both the NVIDIA HGX and MGX ecosystems. Building on their earlier achievements, including the launch of the first digital twin for AI power systems using NVIDIA Omniverse, the two companies will continue to fast-track product innovation and deliver end-to-end AI data center solutions worldwide.
