Schaltbau, a global leader in direct current (DC) technology, is set to participate in Elecrama 2025, India’s premier trade show for the electrical and electronics industry. The event, scheduled from February 22-26, 2025, at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, will serve as a platform for Schaltbau to highlight the growing presence of its Eddicy brand in India’s energy and e-mobility sectors.
At the event, Schaltbau will introduce its C303 contactor series, engineered for bidirectional DC applications across industries such as stationary charging infrastructure, battery test benches, non-IATF electric vehicles, and DC microgrids. The C303 series offers ultra-low contact resistance (just above 100 µΩ), ensuring minimal power loss and enhanced thermal management with reduced contact warming, delivering superior reliability and longevity in demanding environments.
“Elecrama 2025 provides an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our innovative solutions and strengthen our engagement with customers and industry partners in India,” says Steffen Munz, CEO of Schaltbau GmbH Group.
As India’s electric vehicle (EV) market expands—projected to grow from USD 3.21 billion in 2022 to USD 113.99 billion by 2029—Schaltbau’s Eddicy brand is actively contributing to this transition. Through local production in India, Eddicy supports the ‘Make in India’ initiative, ensuring high-quality electrical components for the country’s evolving energy and mobility landscape.
Ripunjay Parikh, Managing Director of Schaltbau India Pvt. Ltd., adds, “With growing demand for advanced electrical components, our local manufacturing capabilities allow us to provide high-performance solutions tailored for India’s sustainable energy and e-mobility goals.”
Elecrama is the largest standalone exhibition for India’s electrical industry, covering innovations from power generation to distribution. Visit Eddicy at Booth #F10 in Hall 1A to explore the C303 bidirectional contactors and other next-generation DC solutions.
