SANY Group, a global leader in construction and heavy machinery, has achieved a major milestone with its Aerial Water Jet Fire Truck JP100, which has officially set a Guinness World Record™ for “The Highest Water Jet from a Fire Truck (Prototype).” The JP100 reached an extraordinary height of 159.66 meters during a live demonstration at the 21st China International Fire Protection Equipment Technology Conference & Exposition held on October 16. This accomplishment marks a new chapter in SANY’s pursuit of advanced emergency response technologies and redefines what’s possible in high-rise firefighting around the world.

The SANY JP100 stands out as the world’s first 5-axle aerial water jet fire truck equipped with a 100-meter boom. It features an innovative boom system combining six telescopic and three folding sections, offering unparalleled reach and flexibility. Its multi-stage centrifugal pump delivers a flow rate of 50 L/s, enabling powerful jets that can cover a range exceeding 70 meters with an operational radius of more than 100 meters. Designed with efficiency and agility in mind, the JP100 is 10 tons lighter than comparable models, offering improved mobility through a five-axle chassis and a 23.7-meter turning diameter. The integrated remote-control system allows a single operator to manage all firefighting actions, significantly boosting on-site response speed and safety.

The record-setting performance of the JP100 demonstrates a new benchmark for urban and high-rise firefighting. Its 159.66-meter jet height meets the requirements of nearly all super-tall structures, while the articulated boom allows cross-obstacle and rear-side operations for buildings up to 30 stories high. With its lightweight 54-ton design, the JP100 ensures fast deployment and maneuverability in dense city environments. Beyond this engineering feat, SANY continues to prioritize research and innovation, investing around 5% of annual sales revenue in R&D. During its 2025 Tech Festival, the company also announced over RMB 600 million in innovation awards, underscoring its commitment to pioneering technologies that push industry boundaries. The JP100’s success reflects SANY’s ongoing mission to transform emergency rescue equipment and reaffirm its belief that innovation has no limits.
