Sansera Signs MoU with Karnataka to Set Up Rs 2,100 Crore Factory

Sansera Engineering Limited signed an agreement with the Karnataka government to set up a new manufacturing facility in Ramanagara, investing Rs 2,100 crore. This new factory in Harohalli, Ramanagara will boost growth in both automotive and non-automotive sectors.

“Sansera Engineering plans to invest around Rs 2,100 crore over the next three to five years under this MoU. This investment will focus on expanding their manufacturing capacity on a 55-acre plot in Harohalli, Ramanagara. The project is expected to create about 3,500 direct and indirect jobs in the region,” according to a statement from the office of the Minister for Large and Medium Industries, M B Patil.

The new facility will increase Sansera’s manufacturing capacity by Rs 3,000 crore, helping India’s export growth. Sansera also plans to open a training center to improve local workforce skills, promoting job opportunities and innovation in the region.

Founded in 1981 and based in Bengaluru, Sansera Engineering specializes in making complex and precise components for automotive and non-automotive sectors. For the automotive industry, they produce parts like connecting rods, rocker arms, crankshafts, and gear shifter forks for 2-wheelers, passenger vehicles, and commercial vehicles. They also supply precision parts for aerospace, off-road, agriculture, and other industries.
