Sanathan Textiles made a strong presence at Techtextil India 2025, held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, where the company highlighted its expanded capabilities, upgraded manufacturing infrastructure, and an enhanced product line across technical textiles and sports-tech segments. The exhibit featured an extensive range of technical textile yarns—one of the fastest-growing categories in the industry—used in construction fabrics, automotive materials, luggage textiles, safety slings, industrial nets, and other high-performance applications.

In the sports-tech space, the company introduced advanced yarns such as moisture-management and dry-cool variants, ideal for sportswear, athleisure, gym wear, and performance apparel. Additional solutions included self-stretch yarns and eco-conscious coloured yarns, reflecting Sanathan’s commitment to both innovation and sustainability.

At the Manmade and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council (MATEXIL), Executive Director Sammir Dattani joined a panel discussion on the Prospects & Potential for Technical Textiles Exports by GenNext. The session brought together emerging leaders from across India’s technical textile landscape to discuss export opportunities, approaches to innovation, and global shifts influencing demand for advanced textile technologies.

The panel featured a roster of next-generation industry representatives, including Kanav Jhunjhunwala (Sarla Performance Fibers Ltd), Gautam Dalmia (Strata Geosystems India Pvt Ltd), Rahul Bajaj (Khosla Profil Pvt Ltd), and Anish Jiwarajka (Jiwarajka Textile Industries). Collectively, they offered forward-looking insights on strengthening India’s global footprint in areas such as geotextiles, protective fabrics, mobility solutions, filtration, medical textiles, and industrial applications. A common message across the discussion was that India’s manufacturing strength must now be complemented by product differentiation, brand building, and faster integration of advanced technologies to drive export-led growth.

During the session, Mr Dattani emphasized the influence of young leaders in shaping the next chapter of the industry. He highlighted that the technical textiles sector is at a transition point, stressing that future-ready companies will be those that prioritize advanced materials, fully integrated supply chains, and responsible production practices. Sustainability emerged as a recurring theme, with speakers noting the increasing global preference for recycled, energy-efficient, and performance-enhanced textile solutions. The panel reinforced its commitment to growth that aligns scale with environmental responsibility.

As India positions technical textiles as a key pillar for export expansion, the insights shared by the GenNext panel reflected strong preparedness and a unified vision for elevating the country into a global innovation hub.
