Sairam Prasad Appointed as CEO of SGSL

Suzlon Energy Ltd has recently made an announcement regarding the leadership of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Suzlon Global Services Limited (SGSL). Effective from January 16, the company appointed Sairam Prasad as the CEO of SGSL. This decision was disclosed in a regulatory filing. The statement outlined that Sairam Prasad’s role extends to being designated as one of the Senior Managerial Personnel (SMPs) of Suzlon Energy Ltd.

Ishwar Chand Mangal, the current Chief Executive Officer of SGSL and another SMP of Suzlon Energy Ltd, will now serve as CEO – New Business. In this capacity, Mr Mangal will report to the group chief executive officer. Additionally, Ishwar Chand Mangal will take on the role of non-executive director at SGSL, effective from February 1, 2024.
