SAEL Solar RE Power Private Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of SAEL Industries Ltd., has successfully commissioned a 50 MW (AC) solar power plant in Maharashtra’s Beed district. The newly developed ground-mounted facility is equipped with advanced TOPCon bifacial solar modules, engineered to deliver high energy efficiency and consistent performance.
The installation is projected to produce more than 100 GWh of clean electricity annually, contributing to India’s expanding renewable energy base. This development supports the national goal of a greener energy future and strengthens efforts to reduce the carbon footprint.
The power generated will be supplied under a long-term, 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), ensuring pricing stability and predictable returns in line with established sector norms.

SAEL continues to grow its clean energy footprint, with a solar IPP portfolio exceeding 6.7 GW (DC) across operational and pipeline projects nationwide. This includes vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities, with 3.7 GW of TOPCon module production capacity, supporting efficiency and advanced solar technologies.
Alongside solar energy, SAEL is also advancing renewable power through its agricultural waste-to-energy projects, currently operating 11 facilities across three Indian states, totaling 165 MW. Together, these initiatives underscore SAEL’s broader mission to drive sustainable energy solutions for the country.
