Saatvik Green Energy has received an additional work order valued at ₹16.74 crore from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the deployment of off-grid solar-powered water pumps across the state. With this latest mandate, Saatvik’s cumulative order book from MSEDCL now covers 1,815 solar water pumps, representing a total contract value of ₹30.24 crore, excluding GST, the company said.
The order has been awarded under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM-B scheme and involves the design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of 1,000 off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems at identified agricultural locations in Maharashtra.
Commenting on the development, Prashant Mathur, Chief Executive Officer, Saatvik Green Energy, said the repeat order reflects growing traction in the company’s solar pump segment and continued trust in its delivery capabilities.
Saatvik Green Energy operates a 4.8 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Ambala, Haryana, and is currently developing a greenfield integrated manufacturing unit in Odisha, which will house 4 GW of module capacity and 4.8 GW of solar cell capacity.
