RVNL Secures Orders Worth Rs 390 Crore

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has announced new contracts totaling Rs 390 crore. The company has received a letter of acceptance from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Nagpur Metro) for constructing 6 elevated metro stations. These stations, including Cantonment and Dragon Palace, will cost Rs 187.34 crore and are expected to be finished in 30 months.

Additionally, RVNL has been selected as the lowest bidder by South Eastern Railway for a project on the Kharagpur – Bhadrak section. This project involves designing, supplying, and commissioning a 132 KV traction substation and related infrastructure, costing Rs 202.87 crore, to be completed in 18 months.

Furthermore, RVNL has signed a memorandum of understanding with TATWEER Middle East and Africa LLC to collaborate on railway projects in the MENA region and Europe. This partnership also includes projects related to smart cities, digital transformation, and engineering services.

RVNL specializes in various railway projects such as new lines, electrification, metro systems, and bridges. The company reported a 33.16% increase in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 478.40 crore, and a 17.38% rise in revenue to Rs 6,714.01 crore in Q4 FY24 compared to Q4 FY23.
