RtBrick, a pioneer in software-driven telecom network infrastructure, has announced a major expansion of its engineering workforce in India, with plans to increase headcount by over 50%. The move follows another profitable year for the company, which reported over 300% year-on-year growth and four out of five years of positive cashflow.
The company added 10 new telecom operators to its client base over the past year, strengthening its position in the fast-growing disaggregated networking segment—a model increasingly adopted by operators modernizing outdated systems. Pravin S Bhandarkar, CEO and Founder of RtBrick, highlighted India’s importance in the company’s global strategy. “The rising demand for our disaggregated networking solutions requires rapid scaling of our development efforts. India continues to be a key location for finding the skilled talent we need to innovate at speed,” he said.
In addition to expanding its engineering team, RtBrick has launched a new support center in Chennai. This facility enhances the company’s international support infrastructure and provides real-time technical assistance for deployments across Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region. It complements existing tech hubs in India and Europe, enabling seamless service delivery for global telecom operators.
CTO and co-founder Hannes Gredler described the company’s growth as a defining moment in reshaping telecom infrastructure. “Our engineers are more than developers—they’re innovators challenging conventional methods and helping build the networks of the future,” he said.
RtBrick’s multiservice edge routing software powers some of the world’s most advanced telecom networks, including Deutsche Telekom and regional players like WOBCOM. By applying a cloud-native model to telecom networks, the company continues to lead the shift towards scalable, software-based architecture. RtBrick is headquartered in the U.S. and operates across India, Europe, and Taiwan.
RtBrick Inc has developed carrier routing software designed to operate on standard, off-the-shelf hardware. The company has leveraged the same methodologies employed by major cloud-native providers to design and manage their large-scale IT infrastructure. RtBrick is a privately held company, incorporated in the United States, with a workforce distributed across Europe, India, and Taiwan.
