RRP Electronics Ltd has entered into four strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) at the prestigious Semicon India 2025 conference, marking a decisive step in advancing India’s semiconductor ecosystem and supporting the nation’s goal of becoming a trusted global hub for electronics manufacturing. The first MoU was signed with the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), highlighting RRP Electronics’ pioneering role as Maharashtra’s first OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) company.

The collaboration focuses on the HGCAL project, a key upgrade to the CMS experiment at CERN, Geneva, and reaffirms RRP’s capability in high-end semiconductor applications requiring state-of-the-art OSAT facilities. The second MoU was inked with Polaron Infotech, a global leader in cybersecurity, aimed at embedding security across the semiconductor supply chain. The partnership will ensure protection of intellectual property, operational continuity, and resilience against emerging cyber threats.

“Cybersecurity is no longer optional—it’s a strategic necessity,” said Rajendra Chodankar, Chairman, RRP Electronics Ltd. “With Polaron Infotech’s cutting-edge expertise, we are confident of creating a secure and dependable semiconductor ecosystem.”

The third MoU was signed with the Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT), Sangli, to foster talent and skill development tailored to semiconductor industry needs. The collaboration will drive industry-aligned curriculum design, hands-on training programs, and create pathways for internships and employment opportunities at RRP Electronics. “This initiative blends academic strength with industry expertise to prepare a future-ready workforce,” Mr Chodankar added.

The fourth MoU was executed with MONK9 Tech Pvt Ltd, under which RRP Electronics will provide advanced packaging technology and infrastructure support for MONK9’s upcoming projects. This partnership expands RRP’s role as a facilitator of next-generation semiconductor innovations.

Collectively, these four agreements are expected to generate revenues of ₹15 crore and beyond, while simultaneously driving innovation, talent development, and professional education in semiconductors—recognized as a critical need for India’s technological growth.
