RR Kabel, a leading manufacturer of consumer electrical products and wires in India, proudly wraps up the third edition of its Kabel Star Scholarship Program. This initiative has provided scholarships worth ₹3 Crore to 3,000 deserving students across the country, helping them pursue their higher secondary education. The program is specifically designed for the children of electricians, affectionately known as ‘Kabel Dost,’ offering crucial financial assistance for their educational journeys.
The 2024 Kabel Stars Scholarship Program saw a tremendous response, with nearly 1,500 applications from across India. After a thorough selection process, 1,000 students were awarded scholarships of ₹10,000 each to support their higher secondary studies. With a scholarship pool exceeding ₹1 crore annually, RR Kabel continues to demonstrate its commitment to shaping the future of these young individuals.
The program also held award ceremonies in cities such as Bhopal, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kozhikode, Coimbatore, Visakhapatnam, Aurangabad, and Nagpur, where the winners were recognized and celebrated. Additionally, the top 25 students from previous editions of the scholarship were also honored, each receiving a laptop to support their academic progress. In some locations, RR Kabel organized a special carnival, featuring a variety of games, food stalls, and entertainment, creating a festive atmosphere for the scholarship recipients and their families.
