Rodic Consultants, a prominent player in engineering and infrastructure consulting, has announced the appointment of Nagendra Nath Sinha, IAS (Retd), as Managing Director of its newly established subsidiary, Rodic Digital & Advisory. This new entity reflects the company’s growing focus on technology-led infrastructure development and governance solutions powered by real-time data and strategic insights.
Previously conceptualized as Rodic Advisory & Technologies, the new subsidiary marks a pivotal shift in the company’s evolution—from supporting physical infrastructure development to becoming a strategic partner that enables informed decision-making through data-driven platforms, policy guidance, and operational intelligence.
Rodic Digital & Advisory has been created to offer forward-looking digital and advisory services, designed to support public institutions and organizations in making confident, timely decisions. The subsidiary specializes in integrating live field data with decision frameworks to deliver precise and measurable outcomes, effectively connecting on-ground execution with high-level governance.
Announcing the appointment, Raj Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director, Rodic Consultants, said, “Rodic Digital & Advisory represents the convergence of our engineering heritage with the possibilities of digital innovation. With Shri Sinha at the helm, we are poised to redefine how infrastructure and governance are imagined and executed. His vision and experience bring unmatched strength to our mission of delivering advisory services that are both practical and forward-looking.”
Sharing his thoughts on the new role, Nagendra Nath Sinha said, “It is a privilege to lead this initiative at a time when digital systems and data-driven strategies are becoming vital to infrastructure planning and governance. The aim is to integrate real-time insights into policymaking and create systems that respond effectively to the needs of citizens.”
A 1987 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service (Jharkhand cadre), Shri Sinha has held key leadership roles in the Ministries of Steel, Rural Development, Border Management, and Transport. He served as Secretary to the Government of India in two major ministries—Rural Development and Steel—and led critical infrastructure agencies including the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL). His work has been instrumental in several landmark projects, including the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, Zojila Tunnel, and India’s Green Steel Roadmap.
Rodic Digital & Advisory brings together expertise in data analytics, digital platforms, systems integration, and public policy to deliver solutions that translate digital progress into tangible outcomes. It has already implemented impactful digital tools, such as a state-wide platform for health data under the Bhavya project in Bihar and a road asset monitoring system that now covers over 13,000 kilometers across the state. Building on Rodic Consultants’ 25-year legacy and more than 170 major projects, the new digital and advisory subsidiary strengthens the company’s role as a partner of choice for governments and institutions looking to bridge infrastructure development with efficient, technology-backed governance.
