Rockwell Automation, a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, has expanded its SecureOT cybersecurity portfolio with the introduction of new assessment, managed service and remote access capabilities designed to help manufacturers and critical infrastructure operators strengthen operational technology (OT) security. The latest additions include the OT Cybersecurity Assessment Suite, SecureOT Platform Managed Services and Managed Secure Remote Access (MSRA), providing organizations with enhanced tools and expertise to identify vulnerabilities, prioritize risks and improve resilience across industrial environments.
As cyber threats targeting operational technology continue to grow in complexity, manufacturers are increasingly challenged by limited visibility into connected assets, rising volumes of security alerts and a shortage of specialized cybersecurity resources. The expanded SecureOT offering is designed to help organizations address these challenges while maintaining operational continuity and production efficiency.
According to Maria Else, Senior Global Product Manager for Cybersecurity Projects at Rockwell Automation, understanding the current state of an organization’s OT environment is essential for building a stronger cybersecurity strategy. She noted that the SecureOT portfolio combines actionable insights, expert guidance and advanced technologies to help industrial operators enhance protection without disrupting critical operations.
The new OT Cybersecurity Assessment Suite provides a structured and modular evaluation framework tailored specifically for industrial environments. Developed by OT security specialists, the assessments leverage proprietary artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities to streamline analysis, standardize evaluations and deliver practical recommendations for improving cyber resilience.
Rockwell has also expanded the capabilities of its SecureOT Platform through managed services that provide continuous monitoring and risk prioritization. These services include managed platform updates, ongoing asset discovery and inventory management, along with dedicated technical account support to help organizations address vulnerabilities more effectively while reducing operational disruption.
In addition, the Managed Secure Remote Access service delivers a cloud-based, identity-driven environment that enables secure connectivity to OT assets. The service supports rapid deployment, improves collaboration with vendors and simplifies remote troubleshooting while reducing the administrative burden on internal teams. Designed to scale with operational requirements, the solution provides a flexible approach to managing secure remote access across industrial facilities.
Rockwell has also refreshed its OT Cybersecurity Policy and Procedures offering, providing organizations with governance frameworks aligned to internationally recognized standards and industry best practices. These enhancements build on Rockwell Automation’s long-standing commitment to cybersecurity, supported by secure product development practices and IEC 62443-4-1 Maturity Level 4 certification. Together, the expanded SecureOT portfolio delivers a comprehensive foundation for helping industrial organizations manage cyber risk, improve visibility and strengthen operational resilience in an increasingly connected manufacturing landscape.
