River EV Achieves INR 100 Crore Revenue and 1,000 Monthly Sales Milestone

River, an electric vehicle manufacturer based in Bengaluru, has crossed INR 100 crore in revenue just four years after its founding. The company’s flagship electric scooter, Indie, was introduced two years ago and has quickly become a market favorite.

Known as the “SUV of Scooters,” the Indie has gained significant traction, and by March 2025, River reached an impressive 1,000-unit sales in a single month. Aravind Mani, CEO and Co-founder of River, expressed pride in the company’s achievements, stating, “In just four years, we’ve reached INR 100 crores in revenue and 1,000 scooters in monthly sales. The solid foundation we’ve built in R&D, manufacturing, and distribution gives us great confidence as we expand our reach and prepare For future products.”

River currently operates 20 retail outlets across cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Hubli, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Coimbatore, Vellore, Tirupati, and Mysore, among others. As demand for their products grows, the company plans to further expand into cities like Trivandrum, Vijayawada, and Pune in the coming weeks. River’s goal is to be present in over 100 cities by 2026, through both company-owned stores and dealerships, accelerating its national footprint across India.
