Renault India has officially introduced the refreshed version of its compact 7-seater, the Triber. With a bold new exterior, upgraded interior, and a suite of added features, the latest Triber sets a new standard in its category while staying true to its core strengths of modular seating and multi-purpose design.

The redesigned model features a striking new front end, highlighted by a sharp grille, reshaped hood, updated bumper, and sleek LED projector headlamps with integrated daytime running lights. LED fog lamps further refine the vehicle’s front profile.

Inside the cabin, the Triber gets a premium makeover with a dual-tone dashboard, an 8-inch touchscreen display compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, refreshed upholstery, a digital LED instrument cluster, and ambient cabin lighting. Dark accents on door handles and trim pieces add a touch of modern elegance.

At the rear, a new bumper, reworked LED taillights, a skid plate, and a stylish taillight garnish give the Triber a well-rounded and contemporary look. This new iteration introduces 35 fresh features and is the first model under Renault’s ‘rethink.’ branding strategy.

Staying aligned with the “Rethink Space” concept, the Triber continues to offer flexible 3rd-row Easy-Fix seats, allowing customers to configure the car as a 5-, 6-, or 7-seater. It also boasts one of the segment’s most spacious boot capacities at 625 litres, ensuring adaptability for various lifestyle needs.

The 2025 Triber is available in four new trims — Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion — and starts at an introductory price of ₹6,29,995 (Ex-showroom). Bookings are now open across Renault’s nationwide dealership network.

Safety has also been given a boost, with the inclusion of 21 standard safety features, such as six airbags, electronic stability control (ESP), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) with brake assist, and—for the first time in this class—front parking sensors.

Speaking at the unveiling, Venkatram Mamillapalle, Managing Director of Renault India, said “India continues to be at the heart of our global growth strategy. The new Triber, featuring Renault’s updated logo and design direction, reflects our renewed focus on the Indian customer. With strong local manufacturing and R&D capabilities, we remain committed to developing products built in and for India.”

Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, added “Triber has always stood out for its practical design and affordability. With the latest model, we’re delivering a more refined, feature-rich version that captures the spirit of modern Indian families. This launch reinforces our push towards innovation and thoughtful design that adapts to evolving needs.”

Under the hood, the Triber is powered by a 1.0L petrol engine delivering 72 PS at 6250 rpm and 96 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard across all trims, while the top-end Emotion variant includes the Easy-R AMT automatic option for added driving convenience.

Renault is also offering a 3-year standard warranty, extendable up to 7 years/unlimited kilometers under the Renault Secure program. For added flexibility, the new Triber now supports CNG retrofitment, approved by government agencies, with a 3-year warranty included.

The Triber already has a strong base of over 1.84 lakh owners across India and is exported to more than a dozen global markets. The updated version brings a more refined aesthetic, smarter features, and enhanced functionality, reinforcing Renault’s ongoing commitment to smart mobility solutions tailored for Indian consumers.

With a robust network of over 350 showrooms and 450 service centers nationwide, Renault is positioning the new Triber as a key pillar in its renewed product strategy aimed at increasing its market share in India’s competitive auto landscape.

Globally, Renault is recognized for pushing the boundaries in design and clean mobility. The brand’s ‘Renaulution’ strategy underlines a shift toward electrification, sustainability, and smarter mobility, further reinforcing its leadership in innovation beyond traditional vehicle manufacturing.
