Renault Group’s new CEO, François Provost, who took the helm on July 31st, has announced a series of key leadership appointments and organizational changes, effective immediately. “To tackle the challenges ahead, we need an organization that acts decisively, operates efficiently, and stays connected to our customers. The leadership updates introduced today bring together seasoned executives with deep industry experience, proven expertise, and the credibility to drive change,” said François Provost, CEO of Renault Group.

Fabrice Cambolive has been appointed to the newly established position of Chief Growth Officer, in addition to his role as CEO of Renault. He will remain a member of the Leadership Team. In this new role, Fabrice will oversee both the Renault and Dacia brands, aligning their strategies to maximize revenue across global markets. By unifying the approach of both brands, Renault Group will capitalize on their distinct identities while maintaining a brand-based structure at the National Sales Company (NSC) level.

Fabrice will also take charge of Renault Group’s international growth, with key markets being prioritized in India, Latin America, and South Korea. Furthermore, he will be responsible for delivering a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints, including digital platforms, marketing, dealer networks, after-sales services, and Group-owned retail, in close collaboration with financial services.

At Dacia, Katrin Adt has been appointed CEO, succeeding Denis Le Vot, who has decided to leave the company. Katrin will report directly to Fabrice Cambolive and will join the Leadership Team. Philippe Brunet has been named Chief Technology Officer (CTO), joining the Leadership Team. He will manage engineering functions for both Renault Group and Ampere.

This newly created CTO role aims to speed up innovation, streamline development, and enhance coordination between key departments like Product Planning, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. Philippe, who has significantly advanced electrification efforts and shortened development timelines in previous projects like the Twingo and battery initiatives, will continue driving Renault Group’s engineering transformation.

Philippe succeeds Philippe Krief, who will continue as CEO of Alpine, focusing on shaping the brand’s future and product lineup. Anthony Plouvier, previously VP of Procurement Strategy and Transformation, has been appointed Chief Procurement Officer, succeeding François Provost. He will join the Leadership Team.

With over 20 years of experience in procurement across various regions, including France, Türkiye, and Japan, Anthony will lead efforts to transform procurement operations, improve competitiveness, and strengthen supplier partnerships. Thierry Charvet will expand his responsibilities to include the Supply Chain, in addition to his current role as Head of Industry and Quality. He remains a member of the Leadership Team.

Claire Fanget, previously Head of HR for the Renault brand, has been appointed Chief People & Organisation Officer, succeeding Bruno Laforge. She joins the Leadership Team. With extensive HR experience across manufacturing, sales, and alliance management, Claire will support Renault Group’s transformation, focusing on adapting skills to meet evolving industry needs and further strengthening managerial excellence.

Christian Stein, Chief Communications Officer, will now be a member of the Leadership Team. François Provost will continue to oversee Partnerships and Public Affairs as CEO. Renault Group is at the forefront of a rapidly evolving mobility landscape, relying on the synergy between its four brands – Renault, Dacia, Alpine, and Mobilize – to deliver innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.
